Project Angus
Located in a chic Montreal neighborhood, this renovation transformed this couple's home into a space that truly reflects their style. Loving mid-century modern design, they wanted something distinctive, a home unlike any other. The project included a complete basement overhaul, a refreshed laundry room and basement bathroom, updated staircases, and a redesigned kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Each space was carefully crafted to balance style, functionality, and unique personality.
We retained much of the kitchen’s original layout while introducing a larger island for increased storage and improved functionality, along with several subtle updates. A new coffee bar was added to the refreshed breakfast nook: a cozy spot where the couple enjoys their morning coffee together.
The ensuite bathroom was completely reimagined to create a true sanctuary. The layout was reworked, tripling the size of the shower and adding a built-in niche, while the vanity was moved to the opposite wall to improve flow. Heated floors, built-in storage with moody undercabinet lighting, a freestanding tub, and a mix of eclectic, vibrant materials all contribute to a space that is both functional and visually striking.
